Albany Park Footbridge

Severe corrosion to all four corners of this footbridge required a number of repairs using 10mm steel plate to rebuild the beams. Abutment walls damaged by tree roots required rebuilding and concrete infill replaced with 20mm ballast and OPC. Steel abraded back to sound paint and clean metal primed with Jotamastic J90 Aluminium, followed by two coats of Jotamastic J87 Intermediate coat. Final coat of Jotun Hardtop XP in black.
